Overview
As EVP Markets at Trilegal, Dibirath is responsible for driving client coverage and relationships for the Firm. His focus is centred on expanding and deepening relationships with large Indian conglomerates and Fortune 500 multinationals. He works closely with clients to ensure they receive seamless, senior-led access to Trilegal’s full capabilities across the Firm’s entire suite of offerings.
He brings over 25 years of experience in Corporate and institutional banking, with deep expertise in C-suite client engagement, strategic business growth, and market development.
Across his career, Dibirath has been a trusted adviser to promoters, boards, and CXOs of leading Indian corporates and multinationals, spanning capital raising, cross-border expansion, and strategic advisory, and has built enduring relationships across India’s corporate and institutional landscape.
He has been closely engaged with the agenda on climate change, sustainable finance, and ESG, and has served on several committees sponsored by international policy institutions focused on climate and sustainability matters.
Before joining Trilegal, Dibirath was the Managing Director & Head of Banking, North & East India at HSBC, where he led C-suite client coverage and capital markets origination across large corporates and institutions, and served as the bank’s designated representative for public and policy engagements with government and industry bodies. Prior to HSBC, he held senior leadership roles at Standard Chartered Bank and ICICI Bank, building and leading coverage teams across corporate and institutional banking.
