Overview

Siddharth Ranade is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution practice. His primary areas of focus are corporate and commercial litigation, arbitration, and insolvency resolution-related disputes. He has represented various Indian and multinational clients in complex corporate and commercial disputes before various courts and arbitral tribunals in India.

Siddharth also advises extensively on pre-litigation strategic issues in a multitude of commercial disputes as well as on enforcement of arbitral awards/decrees before multiple fora. He extensively advises Indian as well as multinational clients on intricate legal issues in respect of their debt related disputes/security enforcement strategies and insolvency litigation and represents such clients as counsel before various fora.

  • Advising a debt fund in connection with release of title deeds lying with a security trustee of a prior lender to the borrower involving contentious proceedings before the High Court;
  • Advising a debt fund in connection with proceedings seeking injunction against pledge enforcement before the High Court
  • Advising a large private commercial bank in connection bank in connection with an inter pleader suit to assert a claim to insurance proceeds in its capacity as a secured creditor;
