Trilegal advised the placement agents on the Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP) by Piramal Finance Limited, involving the issuance of 9,952,606 equity shares and raising approximately INR 2,100 crores.

Trilegal acted as legal counsel to the placement agents, Nomura Financial Advisory and Securities (India) Private Limited, Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Limited and JM Financial Limited.

Piramal Finance is a retail-led diversified NBFC and an RBI-classified Upper Layer NBFC. It is part of the Piramal Group.

The Trilegal Capital Markets team advising on the transaction was led by Partner: Vijay Parthasarathi; and comprised Counsel: Saurav Das, Associates: Lajja Mehta, Joseph George, Rishabh Shah, Shivansh Anand and Trainee Associate: Aarushi Jain.
