Trilegal advised Dr. Harry S. Banga and Angad Banga of The Caravel Group in their acquisition of the International Maritime Institute, India’s premier maritime academy.

Trilegal conducted legal due diligence on International Maritime Institute, drafted, negotiated, and finalised the share purchase agreements and other ancillary agreements and assisted in closing of the proposed transaction.

The acquisition aims to strengthen the development of next generation of global maritime professionals from India. The acquirers aim to enhance International Maritime Institute’s existing training programs, add new specialized courses, and expand career placement programs.
